Construction for Spiritual Transformation!

OK, let’s be honest: Every day flights bring short-term mission teams to Haiti. The vast majority of those teams are BUILDING something. Building churches, building schools, building homes, building orphanages. These are all good and needed projects, but none of them in themselves will necessarily serve in bringing national spiritual revival and transformation to this most depressed nation. Protestant churches, schools, clinics, and orphanages cover Haiti, but the nation continues to descend economically and spiritually as demons continue to dine on the soul of the nation. Denominations are divided by doctrines, jealousies, pride, and the love of money and power. The church of Haiti desperately needs a spiritual revival before God will bring miraculous transformation to the whole society!

One project unlike any other is currently under construction on a vast property of hills and valleys north of Port-au-Prince. It’s called the Transformation Center, and it is being designed as a center of spiritual and social inspiration and training for the future of the nation. A church, a hilltop place of prayer and worship, conference center, radio station, amphitheater, and much more are currently being built or in the plans. The center will not have the name of a person or a church or a denomination on it, and the one responsible for the master plan is a man of humble heart who seeks nothing to glorify himself.

If you have thought about coming to use your construction or other manual skills on a short or long-term mission in Haiti, please contact us to talk together about the Transformation Center, so that you can get the whole picture of what this is all about.

In the meantime, read the blog I wrote about the center, and click on the link in the blog to see all the photos of the property and buildings at their current stage of construction…
