We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe that they are truly holy and supernatural writings, that they are “living words;”
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man;
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and, thereby, incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature;
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood;
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate;
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and, thereby, become children of God;
We believe that the inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all people is a life of righteousness and true holiness;
We believe that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works will determine the rewards in eternity;
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of the Lord who inhabits and fills the spirit of Christians, and through whom are distributed gifts to Christians according to the will of the Father. All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is coming again to gather all His Saints to Heaven. Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from God. This is the second death.
We believe in the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, his return with His Saints from Heaven to rule for one thousand years on earth as the Scriptures promised. After this, there shall be a new heaven and a new earth.
